Lapa Rios Ecolodge is located in a private nature reserve and spreads over 1,000 acres of Central America's lowland tropical rainforest. The lodge is near Corcovado National Park and overlooks the point where the Pacific Ocean meets the Golfo Dulce. Lapa Rios was designed to invoke the harmony of its surrounding beach and forest environments. The main lodge and bungalows are connected through walking paths and stepping stones. The grounds feature 16 private bungalows which are built from locally harvested materials. Each bungalow has an intricately woven thatched roof. Guests can experience hiking, birdwatching, boating trips, dolphin and whale watching, and much more. The lodge features a gourmet chef who specializes in freshly-cooked international cuisine. Meals are infused with hints of the tropics and offer a rainforest dining experience. The chef prepares rotated meals which feature fresh fruits and vegetables with local fish, chicken and meat. Lapa Rios Ecolodge is a getaway for all ages and is well-equipped for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. *Warm wooden floors *Bamboo beds with soft netting *Private deck *Private garden shower
