Day 1: La Paz Waterfall Gardens

This trip to the remarkable La Paz Waterfall Garden begins a little later in the morning, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely morning before beginning your tour. Follow the trails, as they weave through four towering falls, and take in the incredible views of the La Paz River Valley. The park is also home to a variety of species of hummingbirds, and the world's largest enclosed butterfly observatory that offers a collection Costa Rica's most brilliant butterflies.

This tour is approximately 6 hours.

Trip to Costa Rica was excellently planned and supported. They selected great hotels, and the drivers and transitions between locations went smoothly. This was our 5th trip planned by AL and they have an excellent sense of how we love adventure, comfortable with small planes to get access to more remote locations, and lots of hiking and luxurious accommodations to relax and recover.
