Day 1: Birdwatching in Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve
The Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve is the perfect place to view varieties of Costa Rica's famed birds. During your morning birding tour, your guide will help you spot up to 350 species of birds that live in the Reserve. While hiking through the pristine cloudforest, you have a chance to see such unique birds as the quetzal, toucan, wood creeper, flycatchers, orioles and grosbeaks. With any luck you may see the three-wattled bellbird. A great tour for those travelers interested in learning more about the birds that call Costa Rica home.

What made our Costa Rica experience great was the wonderful places we stayed and transportation to get to our different areas to visit was excellent! The white water rafting and the snorkeling & dolphin watching were really fun!
