Today's tour includes a visit to the Trapiche Coffee Farm, a local family farm established in 1948. The two-hour tour includes a walk through the farm where visitors will have the opportunity to see plantations of bananas, plantains, arracache, macadamia, oranges, sugarcane and, of course, coffee. During the tour, your guide will explain everything that goes into growing sugarcane and the history of the farm. During this part of the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste the sugar cane and its derivatives. Next, you will learn about the coffee making process, from planting and cultivating, to peeling and drying the beans, to roasting the coffee. The tour concludes with coffee and sugarcane samples and a chance to make your own candy. This tour is great for families and coffee enthusiasts alike.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
