Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Arrive in Split. The brand new M/S Swallow will be docked in Split harbor where you are welcome to board throughout the day, with access to your cabin starting at 1:00 pm. At 7:00 pm, attend a welcome meeting on board and meet the Cruise director, Captain, the crew and your fellow passengers. Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm.
Start your day with a morning departure towards Bol, said to have the best beach for swimming in Croatia named Zlatni Rat. (Golden cape). Stop in Bol and enjoy this nice Dalmatian town for a walk, or to have a cup of coffee and take a swim till lunch is served on board. After lunch, continue cruising towards the sunniest island of Croatia – the island of Hvar, along of the many coves and bays on the way. Hvar is one of the most popular, very attractive tourist destinations and a meeting point for the international jet set. Upon your evening arrival at Hvar, a local English speaking guide will walk you throughout the town introducing you to the history, culture and way of life on this island and explain how lavender was traditionally farmed on the Island of Hvar for centuries. This morning, you will cruise to the Mljet National Park passing by the magnificent shores of the Korčula islands archipelago, with a swim stop along a way. Upon arrival to the Mljet National Park, you will have the chance to explore and walk around the Great and Small Lake and Islet of St. Mary with its Benedictine Monastery from the 12th century. The Captain's dinner will be served tonight on board.
After having your breakfast, sail to the historical center of Dubrovnik. This famous city is enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage site and you will cruise along Dubrovnik City walls and fortifications and havelunch on board directly in front of the Historical center where you will have chance to take unforgettable photos of breath-taking Dubrovnik. After some down time in front of the Dubrovnik city wall, you will embark on a small boat which will take you directly into the old city harbour where an English speaking guidewill meet you and show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik. After the city tour, have free time to explore the city on your own, visit City Walls or take the cable car to the top of the Mount Srđ, where you can enjoy an intimate farewell dinner. A coach transfer back to the ship will be scheduled from Pile Gate to the Gruž harbour.
After breakfast, cruise to the Korčula. Cruise past the magnificent shores of the Elaphiti islands archipelago, to the northwest of Dubrovnik. The ship will stop for a swim before lunch then cruise towards Korcula afterwards. Korčula is a city known as a birthplace of Marko Polo, the famous explorer. Your English speaking guide will show you around Korčula City, and walk you through the narrow and cobbled streets of Korčula.The rest of the evening is free to enjoy a local dining experience at one of the local restaurants of your choice.
This morning cruise to Vis Island where you can expected to stop for a swim after lunch. Vis is a pearl among Croatian Adriatic islands, left untouched by the development of tourism for so many years – due to its strategic location on the open sea, it served as a military zone for many years. Beautiful beaches, and preserved nature, ecological agriculture and preserved traditional architecture are unique features of this beautiful Croatian island where you will spend afternoon.
After breakfast, the ship will continue to sail to Bisevo Island, with its Blue cave. The cave has its own natural entrance which is located below sea level, which requires that visitors dive deeply only to resurface into the cave’s mysterious blue depths. This natural phenomenon creates a magical effect of deep blue and shiny silver, mystifying her visitors.
However, sometimes High Waves prevent the entrance to Blue Cave, which is something that can only be determined on the morning of your visit. If you are unable to enter the cave, an alternative tour will be provided. The alternative half-day tour is an visit to Vis Island, WWII RAF Airport, and Komiža – a peculiarly beautiful town which boasts the longest fishing tradition on the East Adriatic. After a relaxed cruise arrive back in Split.
Enjoy a Spilt City tour. It is traditionally considered to be over 1,700 years old. Since 1979 the historic centre of Split has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site List. The historical and cultural buildings are located inside the walls of the Diocletian’s Palace.
Optional Afternoon Excursion to Krka National Park:
The Krka National Park was proclaimed in 1985 and is the seventh National Park in Croatia. The whole area is rich with vegetation as well as birds and fish. Due to strict preservation laws, this extraordinary area has been kept in its original pristine state.
Walk through the National Park to Skradinski buk waterfall, the longest waterfall on the Krka River, as one of the best known natural beauties of Croatia. Walking portion will end at The Skradinski buk Ethno Village at Krka National Park. Which recently received the prestigious Golden Flower of Europe award in a competition among several thousand sites. Return to Split by a scenic road from Krka, arrive back in Split through the Golden Door, where you will join the Split City Tour. Your tour ends back at the ship.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

Adventure Life has been an extraordinary travel resource for us over the years and today was no exception. Our River Cruise booking was handled by Jess (who has been our personal trip planner for several years) the same day as our inquiry. Suggestions were given for cabin choice and pre-trip options (that were not shown on the cruise line's website) like airport transfers and prepaid gratuities. Trip insurance recommendations followed and we were assigned a travel co-ordinator till the end of the tour. All we have to do is show up! Great service from friendly folks.

Our travel was flawless! The rider pickup (airport, hotel, ship) was seamless. Jane's recommendation for Emerald Cruise Sakara was everything I wanted but the experience was soooo much more. Adventure Life took care of each and every detail and this was the easiest of all my travels.
