Day 1: Dubrovnik (Old Town), Croatia | Embark

Walk the Adriatic coast in southern Dubrovnik and explore its 16th-century Old Town. Tour historic sites recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and follow streets featured in films. Take a short ferry to Lokrum for a beach break and swim in clear waters. Sample local wines and enjoy platters of regional cheeses and meats to experience authentic Croatian flavors. Navigate cobblestone alleys, observe architecture, and absorb the city’s rich history. Move between landmarks and hidden corners, combining cultural exploration with coastal relaxation.

Day 2: Dubrovnik (Old Town), Croatia

Explore the southern Dubrovnik coastline and walk through its 16th-century Old Town. Visit historic landmarks listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and follow streets featured in popular films. Catch a short ferry to Lokrum for a beach day, swim in the Adriatic, and enjoy the island’s scenic views. Taste local wines and sample platters of regional cheeses and meats to experience authentic flavors. Move through cobblestone streets, stop at cultural sites, and explore hidden corners of the city. Combine history, local cuisine, and seaside relaxation for a complete Dubrovnik experience.

Day 3: Kotor, Montenegro

Along the Adriatic coast of Montenegro lies the fortified town of Kotor, known for its medieval old town with winding streets and historic squares, as well as its many Romanesque churches and Maritime Museum. For unbelievable views of the Bay of Kotor, hike to the top of San Giovanni Fortress. Stroll through the many vendors, taking in the sounds, scents and colors as they call out their daily specials, produce and homemade goods. Swim the stunning azure waters of the bay with a boat tour to the Blue Cave.

Day 4: Otranto (Puglia), Italy

Medieval ramparts, narrow alleys and cobblestone streets bring the past to life in the town of Otranto, one of Italy’s best-kept secrets. Its cathedral though, is the shining star among a treasure trove of architecture with a dazzling mosaic tile floor depicting the Tree of Life. As you and your fellow explorers wander the Old Town’s cozy streets, you will discover an array of modern restaurants, wine bars and shops housed in antiquated stone buildings. Stop in at one of these eateries to share a meal of Puglia’s famed orecchiette, a favorite pasta of the region usually served with delicious ricotta. Raise a glass of the region’s wine, such as Primitivo or Bombino Nero, and toast to new companions and new adventures. Join the locals of Otranto for a passeggiata along the seaside promenade overlooking the sparkling ocean.

Day 5: Bari, Italy

The port city of Bari stands as the capital of Italy’s Puglia region. Its old town Bari Vecchio and bustling harbor are enough to make you want to stay. Start along the Longamore and keep going to find a mix of sandy and rocky beaches, coves and bays, from Cala Porto to Polignano a Mare. Puglia is famous for taking simple foods made only with local and seasonal ingredients and turning them into culinary art, such as its beloved orecchiette, a pasta made without eggs and shaped like small ears. Become inspired by the culture of Bari at the Auditorium Nino Rota, named after its famous composer who scored The Godfather.

Day 6: Hvar Island | Vis Island, Croatia

The port town of Hvar shares its name with the Croatian island, renowned as a prime summer destination for yachting. Considered the crown jewel of Croatia’s Dalmatian islands, Hvar has cultivated a reputation as rich in history, culture, literature and natural monuments. Drink in the stunning landscapes as Hvar is covered in vast fields of ancient olive trees, lavender and vineyards. Within its bounds you will find the oldest town in the entirety of Croatia, Stari Grad, established by the ancient Greeks. For a picture-perfect seaside locale, head over to Dubovica Beach along the Adriatic Sea.

Nestled in the azure embrace of the Adriatic Sea lies Vis Island, a dreamy sanctuary that beckons explorers with its rustic charm and serene landscapes. This Croatian jewel is a culinary haven where the freshest catch of the day meets time-honored recipes, crafting delightful dishes that tantalize your taste buds. Indulge in local specialties such as pasticada and peka, paired perfectly with locally grown vegetables. Raise a glass to the island’s illustrious wine heritage, nurtured by generations of dedicated vintners. Explore the lush vineyards and sample exquisite wines like the renowned Vugava or Plavac Mali, each sip a testament to the island’s fertile lands and winemaking expertise. Vis also offers a fascinating peek into ancient history with its well-preserved ruins and charming old towns. Stroll through the cobblestone streets of Komiža and Vis Town, where vibrant traditions celebrate the island’s lively culture and storied past. Vis Island is not just a destination; it’s a journey through time, taste, and tradition.

Day 7: Rovinj, Croatia

Rovinj has become one of Croatia’s more visited destinations, and rightly so. With plenty of natural wonders, crystalline waters at stunning beaches and cobblestone paths leading to rich history, the city has earned a place on every traveler’s bucket list. The winding, medieval streets of Old Town mingled with modern-day boutiques and cafes creates a harmonious balance of past and present. Located along the Istrian Peninsula, it offers a breathtaking view of the ocean, especially from the Golden Cape. Crystal blue waters beckon and entice you to jump in for a refreshing swim or dive in for an exciting shipwreck excursion.

Day 8: Venice, Italy | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
The iconic image of Venice shows a city with no roads, only canals, because it’s built on over 100 small islands in a lagoon amid the Adriatic Sea. In the heart of the city close to Piazza San Marco you will find the Bridge of Sighs, an architectural jewel amid so many historical wonders. Venetian cuisine is renowned throughout Italy for its high-quality seafood. Positioned within a lagoon, local chefs and restaurants have the advantage of fresh-caught fish directly from the source and bringing it straight to their tables.
