Day 1: Arrive in Hvar

Welcome to the charming island of Hvar, nestled in the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea. This picturesque destination is famous for its sunny beaches, including the beautiful Dubovica beach, as well as its fragrant lavender fields and hidden coves.
Once a thriving port town during the Middle Ages, Hvar has since evolved into a chic resort town on the Dalmatian Riviera. With its breathtaking Mediterranean landscapes, rich cultural heritage, Venetian-inspired architecture, and mild climate, it's no wonder why Hvar is considered a fairy-tale destination.
 
Settle into your comfy hotel in Hvar's town center and prepare your your next few days of exploration.

Day 2: Hvar | Hiking Lost Villages

Today, head out on a day trip to Dalmatia, where you'll discover the abandoned villages of Malo and Velo Grablje. Immerse yourself in the rich history of traditional architecture and learn about the importance of Mediterranean plants in rural village life. After a hearty breakfast, meet your guide in the lobby for a 20-minute transfer to Velo Grablje, approximately 14 kilometers away. Along the way, marvel at the stunning scenery of the surrounding islands. Begin your hike from Velo Grablje to Malo Grablje, following the old trail that served as the main road connecting Hvar with Stari Grad during medieval times. The entire trail is downhill and perfect for a leisurely walk. Enjoy a delicious lunch of local flavors at a small tavern in Malo Grablje.
As you continue your hike through villages, you'll get the chance to appreciate the beauty of traditional architecture and ways of living. Learn about medical herbs, traditions, and the challenges of island life. 

If you prefer a water activity instead of hiking, please let your trip planner know so that we can provide alternative options today, such as a sea kayaking and olive grove tour and tasting. 

Day 3: Hvar | Island Tour & Wine Tasting

After breakfast, meet your guide at the lobby and head out on a private island tour. Begin your journey by traversing the scenic roads of Hvar Island, known for its rich history of lavender, olives, and wine. Your guide will bring this history to life as you drive through charming villages like Brusje and Selca. Next, visit two local wine producers, where you'll have the opportunity to taste a number of unique natural wines, perfectly paired with local snacks. Get ready to savor the flavors and aromas of Hvar's best wines!

After your wine tasting, the rest of your day is yours to enjoy. Relax on the beach, explore the town's charming shops and galleries, or sample delicious local cuisine at one of the island's many bars and restaurants.

Day 4: Return Home
