The quaint town of Cuenca is always a favorite of the travelers lucky enough to visit. While it is Ecuador's third-largest city behind Guayaquil and Quito, Cuenca's charm comes from its relaxed highland lifestyle, agreeable climate, and friendly people. Here, four babbling mountain rivers converge in a city marked by colonial architecture reminiscent of an Ecuadorian yesteryear. The cathedrals downtown are definitely worth visiting, and the main plaza is a delightful place to spend the evening. Cuenca's location in the mountains gives it a brisk, sun-kissed climate great for strolling around the surprisingly quiet city. It also has the best access of any city to Cajas National Park & the Ingapirca archaeological site, considered Ecuador's best Inca ruins. Choose from multisport tours to cultural immersions & much more.
We went to the Patagonia on the Chile side and Perito Moreno in El Calafate, Argentina. Eric of San Diego handled our trip with expertise. The preparation went smoothly, despite some changes on our part with scheduling conflicts. He offered great advice which made us feel at ease with all decisions on the trip. It was truly a great experience.

We had a great experience- they were very helpful in trip planning and making sure we got to do all the activities and see the places we wanted. There were some things we couldn't do/see due to the time of year being the rainy/low season and they steered us away from those. We had never been to Costa Rica before and it gave us a good overview of this lovely country.
