Day 1 TULCEA (Romania) | EMBARK

Tulcea, the main port town on the Danube Delta is almost as old as Rome itself. After boarding the ship, enjoy a welcome cocktail and meet the crews. Enjoy tonight’s dinner and the traditional entertainment on board.

Day 2 TULCEA | SULINA | CRISAN (Romania)

Cruise towards Sulina, located at the mouth of the Danube, all the way to Crisan. The excursion proposed are:
CLASSIC: The Danube Delta with its rich fauna and flora.
DISCOVERY: The Danube Delta on a speed boat, a thrilling and original discovery.
Spend the afternoon cruising towards Oltenita.

Day 3 OLTENITA (Romania)

Join an excursion for a full-day excursion in Bucharest, the Romanian capital. This city is an incredible mix of styles with its Orthodox churches, manor houses in Second Empire style, clumsy-looking Stalinist architecture of the Communist period and the Palace of the Parliament (exterior only).
Then,  return on board in Ruse.

Day 4 RUSE (Bulgaria)

Join an excursion for a full-day excursion to Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi, including lunch at a restaurant. Then, return on board in Ruse. Enjoy tonight’s dinner and a traditional folk entertainment on board.

Join an excursion for a tour to Ruse, a very attractive town thanks to the wide avenues, large squares and wonderful buildings which pay tribute to the national Renaissance architecture. Spend the afternoon cruising.

Day 6 THE IRON GATES

Cruise the whole day on the Danube. The ship passes through the Iron Gates, the gorge on the Danube that forms part of the boundary between Serbia and Romania. It was called "The Cauldrons” by ancient sailors, since the water, held tightly between two steep cliffs, seemed to be boiling.

Day 7 BELGRADE | NOVI SAD (Serbia)

The excursion proposed are:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Belgrade whose rich cultural heritage will surprise you.
DISCOVERY: Discover Belgrade by bike. Cycle along the history-filled streets with your guide who is going to explain the city's recent past from World War II to current times.
In the afternoon, join an excursion for a discovery to the multi-ethnic city of Novi Sad, the industrial and financial center of the Serbian economy and a major cultural center. Visit the Krusedol Monastery and return on board in Novi Sad. The ship continues cruising towards Osijek.

Day 8 OSIJEK | MOHACS (Hungary)

The excursion proposed are:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Osijek.
DISCOVERY: Discover Osijek by bike. The old part of the town, Tvrdja, was built at the beginning of the 18th century and is a dream to cycle through. It is the best-preserved, largest ensemble of Baroque buildings in Croatia.

Spend the afternoon cruising towards Mohacs and through customs before sailing on to Budapest. Enjoy the gala dinner this evening. The ship continues to cruise through the night.

Day 9 BUDAPEST (Hungary)

Enjoy your breakfast on board before disembarking. Spend your free time in Budapest today (lunch not included). You are welcome to board the ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into the cabins, enjoy a welcome cocktail. After having your dinner tonight, join an excursion for traditional entertainment in Belgrade this evening.

Day 10 BUDAPEST

The excursion proposed are:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Budapest.
DISCOVERY: Discover Budapest by bike. Cycle down the streets of Budapest and past the most renowned sites and locations of the city.

Return on board in Esztergom. In the afternoon, enjoy some time on your own exploring the former capital of Hungary. The city is full of treasures such as the Neo-classical basilica and former Royal Palace. Then, return on board and depart for Vienna. Enjoy the entertainment this evening.

Day 11 BUDAPEST | VIENNA

Upon arriving in Vienna, join an excursion for a visit to the Hofburg Palace, former residence of the Hapsburgs. Tonight, join an excursion for a tour  toVienna by night.

Day 12 VIENNA

This morning, the excursions proposed are:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of the Schoenbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Imperial family, followed by a panoramic tour of Vienna.
DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living, music and Viennese cafes. Stroll through the city and visit backstage in the Konzerthaus concert hall(1). After the tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.

In the afternoon, you are free to explore this marvelous city at your own pace or take part in an optional excursion (not included in packages), a horse-drawn carriage ride through the old town and the famous Ring road in Vienna.

This evening, join an optional excursion by experiencing the concert of Viennese music (subject to availability).

The ship departs at midnight.

Day 13 MELK | PASSAU

The ship cruises along the most beautiful section of the Wachau Valley, arriving in Melk in the morning. Then set off on an excursion for a tour to Dürnstein, the fortified village where Richard the Lionheart was once held as a prisoner. In the afternoon, join an excursion for a visit to the Melk Abbey. Originally a Baroque-style palace built between 1702 and 1736, it is now a Benedictine monastery that hosts a prestigious coed school with more than 900 students. Return on board and cruise towards Passau. Enjoy the entertainment this evening.

Day 14 PASSAU

Set out to explore Passau in the company of hostess, strolling the narrow romantic streets and admiring is Baroque-style buildings. Then cruise to Regensburg through the night.

Join an excursion for a guided tour to Regensburg and the Walhalla hall of fame which overhangs the river. Return on board in Kelheim and cruise the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal to Hilpostein.

Arrive in Nuremberg in the morning. Join an excursion for a guided tour of the city and tasting of its famous gingerbread. Return on board in Erlangen and start sailing towards Bamberg. The ship continues to cruise through the night.

Spend this morning cruising to Schweinfurt. Join an excursion for a tour to Rothenburg, one of the oldest cities in Germany. Day 18 WÜRZBURG | WERTHEIM

Explore Miltenberg in the company of a hostess and discover this charming, very typical German village. Its marketplace surrounded by half-timbered houses, it's Grande Rue and former Town Hall make Miltenberg a unique town and the "pearl of the Main". Then cruise to Aschaffenburg.

Day 20 ASCHAFFENBURG | FRANKFURT | MAINZ

The ship departs for Frankfurt. The excursions proposed are:

Enjoy a buffet breakfast on board while cruising towards Strasbourg, passing through two impressive locks on the Rhine, Iffezheim, and Gambsheim. Then, reach Strasbourg at 2:00 p.m. and disembark after lunch.
