Day 1 Berlin | Embark

Passengers are welcome to board the ship in Berlin starting at 6:00 PM. After comfortably settling into your cabin, meet the MS Elbe Princesse's crew at a welcome cocktail. Then enjoy dinner on board and remain in port overnight.

Day 2 Berlin | Brandenburg

This morning, join a tour of Berlin, once the iconic representation of a world divided in two. In the afternoon, leave for a visit of the gardens at the Sanssouci Palace, once the residence of Frederick the Great. Afterwards, return to the ship and begin to cruise to Brandenburg. Discover the idyllic charm of the lakes formed by the Havel River as you glide past the Pfaueninsel and admire its historical buildings. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Day 3 Burg | Magdeburg

Begin your day cruising to Burg. Take advantage of your free time this morning while you cruise to admire the landscapes or participate in onboard activities. This afternoon, join a visit of Magdeburg, situated midway on the Elbe River and the historic Roman Roads. The Lutheran Cathedral of Saints Catherine and Maurice is the highest church building in eastern Germany. Afterwards, return on board in Magdeburg and continue your cruise. Tonight’s dinner is followed by an evening of dancing. The ship sails through the night.

Day 4 Lutherstadt Wittenberg

Arrive in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, and leave on a guided tour of the city, where Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of a church and sparked the Reformation. Discover the city center and its noble Renaissance-style houses. Visit Luther’s house and a former Augustinian monastery which is now the Reformation Museum and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, return on board and spend the afternoon cruising. Tonight enjoy a Quiz Night as the ship cruises to Meissen.

Day 5 Meissen | Dresden

This morning arrive in Meissen and join a guided tour of the city, famous for its trademark porcelain. Discover how the porcelain has been made for more than 300 years and admire the magnificent pieces displayed in the museum. Then head for the city center to see the outside of Albrechtsburg and the cathedral. Return on board in Dresden. After lunch, enjoy a visit of the city known as the “Florence of the Elbe.” A relatively recent city with Slavic origin, Dresden became the capital of the Margravate of Meissen in the 13th century and the seat of the Dukes of Saxony in the 15th century. Its breathtaking architectural and artistic heritage makes it one of the most important tourist destinations in Germany. Tonight’s dinner is followed by an evening of dancing.

Day 6 Bad Schandau | Elbe Sandstone Mountains

Today begin to cruise early in the morning for Bad Schandau. Arrive and get off the ship for an excursion to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Discover the Königstein Fortress, overlooking the Elbe and one of the largest hilltop fortresses in Europe. Thought to have been built in the 13th century, it was for centuries used as a state prison. Stop at the Bastei rock, a towering formation above the Elbe and molded by water erosion over one million years ago. Get back on board and cruise through the magnificent Saxon Switzerland area (which really is a part of Germany) gliding by the prairies, woods, lakes, vineyards and chateaux. Enjoy an evening of entertainment as you cruise. 

Day 7 Litomerice | Kralupy Nad Vltavou

Take a tour of Litomerice. This royal town is one of the oldest Bohemian cities established in the 13th century and whose old town is listed as a World Heritage Site. You'll spend the afternoon cruising. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Day 8 Prague

Today leave Kralupy Nad Vltavou to spend the morning on a tour of Prague’s Old Town. Staré Město, dates back more than 1,000 years and is one of the most important places in Bohemian history. While strolling through the streets, discover the Jewish Quarter, the town hall, the infamous astronomical clock, and the Church of Mother of God in front of Týn. Return on board in Prague for a delightful lunch. Spend the afternoon on a visit of Prague Castle area: a collection of a half dozen palaces, several churches and monasteries, and gardens overlooking the city. Observe Saint Vitus Cathedral, the most recognizable landmark in the city, the Prague Castle, and the Golden Lane. Tonight attend the gala dinner on board.

Day 9 Prague | Disembark
