Passengers are welcome to board the ship early this evening in Basel. After comfortably settling into your cabins, be introduced to the crew at a welcome cocktail. Remain in port overnight.
*Passengers will choose either the Classic or Discovery package to participate in for the duration of the voyage.
Classic: Join a guided tour of Mainz and the Gutenberg Museum (closed on Mondays).
Discovery: Touring the Rhineland vineyards. Then return on board and depart for Koblenz, passing the legendary Lorelei rock.
After you arrive in Koblenz in the evening, enjoy some free time on your own or join your host/hostess for a tour of the city. Remain in port overnight.
Today, cruise to Cologne. In the afternoon, join a guided tour on foot of the city. The tour will allow you to wonder at the majestic cathedral, the old town as well as the famous Fragrance Museum (exterior only.) Enjoy some free time on your own before you return by coach to the ship in Dusseldorf. Tonight is the gala evening and dinner on board.
Spend the morning cruising to Xanten. Visit the open-air museum in Arnhem, then return on board in Nijmegen, and cruise to Amsterdam in the afternoon. Enjoy an evening of onboard entertainment.
