Embark on a 12-day river cruise from Berlin to Amsterdam, traveling through Germany and the Netherlands aboard MS Victor Hugo. Begin in Berlin with guided city tours before sailing to Potsdam and the gardens of Sanssouci Palace. Continue to Magdeburg, known for its Gothic cathedral, and visit Wolfsburg for the Autostadt automotive exhibition. Explore Hanover, a key economic hub, then discover the historic “Red Town” of Nienburg. In Bremen, one of Germany’s oldest maritime cities, explore its Renaissance town hall. Sail through Oldenburg and the Coastal Canal, then tour the Meyer Werft shipyard. Arrive in Amsterdam to see its canals, museums, and architecture, with optional excursions to Volendam and Zaanse Schans. Board the ship at 6:00 p.m. Settle into your cabin, meet the crew during a welcome cocktail, and have dinner on board. The ship stays docked in port overnight.
Take an optional guided tour of Berlin, a city once divided during the Cold War. Return to the ship for lunch, then spend the afternoon exploring Berlin on your own before dinner on board.
You'll leave for the optional excursion to Charlottenburg Castle. Our ship will then depart for Potsdam, which we will reach at the beginning of the afternoon. When you arrive, you'll set off on an optional excursion to Potsdam and the gardens of Sanssouci Palace. You'll return back on board at the end of the afternoon and continue to cruise in the direction of Wusterwitz.
The ship will begin to cruise early in the morning for Magdeburg. Join an optional tour of Magdeburg, situated midway on the Elbe River and the historic Roman Roads. Its cathedral is one of the most important of Gothic-style edifices in Europe. Free time before joining the boat in Calvörde. Continuation of the navigation towards Wolfsburg.
Join an optional visit to the Autostadt, a combination automotive theme park and museum with separate buildings for each VW brand. During this time, the boat will sail to Braunschweig, where you will board it at the end of the afternoon. The ship will leave for Hanover.
You'll then set off on an optional excursion to Hanover. The capital of Lower Saxony, Hanover, is one of the main economic centers in Germany. Return on board in Minden. The afternoon was spent cruising towards Nienburg, which you will reach in the evening.
An optional transfer for the free tour of the "Red Town”, which has a magnificent town hall from the Weser Renaissance. During this time, the ship will continue its course for Hoya, where you will board it once again. You'll spend the afternoon cruising to Bremen.
Day 8: Bremen | Oldenburg | Coastal Canal

Join an optional tour of Bremen (walking tour), the oldest maritime city in Germany and the second largest trading port in Germany after Hamburg. You'll then return on board and depart for Oldenburg. Enjoy a stroll in the city before you board the ship again and begin to cruise on the Coastal Canal.
In the morning, join an optional tour of the city of Amsterdam. In the afternoon, you'll leave for an optional excursion to Volendam and the Zaanse Schans. Free evening in Amsterdam.
Day 12: Amsterdam | Disembark
