Stop at a local textile cooperative where over 500 women produce intricate weavings. Depending on timing, you may also take part in a hands-on weaving lesson. Sun protection and comfortable walking shoes are recommended throughout the day.

Continue to Cantel to visit Guatemala’s only glassblowing workshop. Watch artisans shape recycled glass into handcrafted pieces. Return to Quetzaltenango by late afternoon.
