Porto Empedocle, a coastal town on Sicily’s south shore, serves as the ideal gateway to Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples, located just a short drive away. This small port offers Mediterranean views and a laid-back atmosphere before you venture inland.
Agrigento is home to one of Sicily’s most iconic archaeological sites: the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing remarkably preserved Greek ruins. Highlights include the Temple of Concordia—among the best-preserved ancient Greek temples anywhere—the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Heracles, and the ancient theater, all set against sweeping countryside views. Cagliari is the capital city of the Italian island of Sardinia. It's known for it's hilltop Castello, a medieval walled quarter situated high above. the rest of the town. It has a rich and varied heritage reflected in it's buildings that includes Baroque churches, Medieval towers, Italian Art Nouveau as well as Roman stonework. Sardinia's fabled beaches are also accessible and as you would expect the restaurants in and around the town are excellent to.

Notes
Single supplement: A single supplement fare is available at 150% of the published cruise fare for categories 2-6 during the season in which passengers are traveling. It is available at 200% for category 1 cabins, Deluxe Suites, and Owner's Suites. Single space is capacity controlled.
Children's rate: Savings may be available for children under 18 years when traveling with a full-paying adult on select sailings and subject to availability. Contact us for details.
Initial deposit is $400 pp for Cat 2-6 and $800pp for Cat 1, Deluxe and Owner's, and most travelers will call our office and pay the deposit with a credit card.
Final payment is due 100 days prior to departure by bank transfer, check, or credit card. All final payments by credit card may be subject to a surcharge and maximum of $20,000 charge

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
