Day 1: Civitavecchia | Embark

Serving as the primary maritime gateway to Rome, Civitavecchia stands as a vital seaport for the Italian capital. This key entry point for Mediterranean cruises and ferries crossing the Tyrrhenian Sea connects travelers to destinations throughout Italy and beyond. The city is situated 70 km from Rome and 62 km from Fiumicino Airport.

Day 2: Sorrento, Italy

Rising straight from the sea on the lovely Amalfi Coast, the city walls of Sorrento overlook the Bay of Naples. This coastal destination serves as a gateway for excursions back in time to Pompeii, where the ashen remains of ancient Romans lie frozen in history.

Day 3: Amalfi, Italy

During the Middle Ages, Amalfi was a powerful republic of 70,000 people, rivaling nearby Ravello. For a sense of Amalfi's medieval glory, wander through the grand Duomo, containing the remains of St. Andrew. Amalfi is a magnificent coastal town offering an enchanting blend of natural beauty, rich history and Mediterranean charm.

Day 4: Ponza | Palmarola, Pontine Islands, Italy

The pastel houses of Ponza Town rise in neat terraced rows from the busy harbor where sleekly groomed yachts and ramshackle fishing boats moor side by side. Happily, there are few tourists here, so it's a delight to wander through the unspoiled town.

Palmarola is a snorkelling heaven that is part of a group called The Pontine Islands, located off the coast between Rome and Naples. A craggy landscape with pink coral beaches and emerald coves beckons so don't forget your swimsuit and flippers. Totally unique, isolated and stunning.

Day 5: Civitavecchia | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
Disembark after breakfast and continue your independent trip back home.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
