Day 1: Civitavecchia (Port for Rome), Italy | Embark

Serving as the vital seaport for the Italian capital of Rome, Civitavecchia stands as your primary entry point for Mediterranean cruises and ferries traversing the Tyrrhenian Sea. This coastal hub provides you with a direct gateway to diverse destinations throughout Italy and across the globe. When planning your transit, note that the city is located 70 kilometers from Rome and 62 kilometers from Fiumicino Airport.

Day 2: Bastia, Corsica, France

Wander through Bastia, northern Corsica's most prominent town, and immerse yourself in a lively Mediterranean atmosphere defined by narrow streets and brightly colored buildings. Here, you experience a captivating blend of traditional charm and urban dynamism. Make your way down to the harbor—the historic heart of the city—where you can admire classic boats anchored just steps away from bustling restaurants and cafés.

Day 3: Calvi, Corsica, France

Napoleon once said that he could recognize his native island blindfolded thanks to the wonderful scent of the maquis. When you arrive in Corsica by sea, that's the first thing you notice. The second is the wild, mountainous landscape, and when you see a medieval citadel overlooking a marina, you know you've arrived in Calvi!

Day 4: Lerici, Italy

Percy Bysshe Shelley spent his last happy days at the Villa Magni near Lerici, before embarking on his stormy and fatal voyage on July 8, 1822. Lord Byron, another literary figure who resided in Lerici, famously swam across the bay now known as the "Golfo dei Poeti." The small fishing villages of San Terenzo, Tellaro, Fiascherino, and Montemarcello share similarities with the more renowned Cinque Terre.

Day 5: Portoferraio, Elba, Italy

From his villa in Portoferraio, Napoleon, the exiled Emperor of France, looked out over the waiting ships in the harbor and dreamed of returning to glory. Enjoy a local vineyard tour, and near Portoferraio, discover the remains of an ancient Etruscan civilization.

Day 6: Civitavecchia (Port for Rome), Italy | Disembark

As a key entry point for Mediterranean cruises and ferries crossing the Tyrrhenian Sea, Civitavecchia offers a gateway to a variety of destinations in Italy and beyond. Notes

Single supplement: A single supplement fare is available at 150% of the published cruise fare for categories 2-6 during the season in which passengers are traveling. It is available at 200% for category 1 cabins, Deluxe Suites, and Owner's Suites. Single space is capacity controlled.
