Day 1: Venice, Italy | Embark

Venice stands as the true heart and soul of romance. Admire the curved domes of San Marco, pause for a breath at the famous Bridge of Sighs, and marvel at the golden lions and Renaissance splendor of the Doge's Palace. Listen for the musical echoes of Verdi, Puccini, and Caruso at La Fenice Opera House, take in the classic Palladian design of the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore, and glide smoothly along the Grand Canal in a gondola. Through it all, rest assured that love is constantly in the air across this captivating city.

Day 2: At Sea

Every Star Clippers vessel provides a classic and elegant way to explore the world. Feel the wind fill the sails, gently carrying the ship from one stunning destination to the next. While on board, choose to relax on a sun lounger or cool off in one of the top-deck pools. For a bit more thrill, take the opportunity to climb the rigging or even try your hand at steering the ship. Alternatively, wander through the interior spaces to discover inviting lounges, a revitalizing spa (exclusive to the Royal Clipper), and a peaceful library.

Day 3: Kotor, Montenegro

This stunning rock-walled chasm splitting the coastal mountains of Montenegro is the longest arm of the sea in southern Europe. Boka harbors one of the prettiest, unspoiled towns to explore, the medieval city of Kotor. Founded by the Romans, fortified during the Byzantine era, and then ruled by Venice for much of its history, Kotor has been naturally preserved by its isolation.

Day 4: Korcula, Croatia

Framed by dense green forests of allepo pine and twisted cypress, the red tile roofs of Korcula, whose most famous native son was Marco Polo, form an inviting picture. The pale wheat-colored stone Cathedral of St. Mark houses a treasure trove of Dalmatia

Day 5: Trogir, Croatia

Steeped in history and surrounded by the clear waters of the Adriatic, Trogir is one of Croatia’s best-preserved medieval towns - a UNESCO World Heritage Site of extraordinary beauty. Passengers can stroll through its narrow cobbled streets, where Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance buildings stand side by side, or relax in a café along the waterfront promenade. Highlights include the magnificent Cathedral of St. Lawrence and the elegant Kamerlengo Fortress overlooking the harbor. Compact, atmospheric, and filled with charm, Trogir is a living museum of Dalmatian history and a perfect place to simply wander, discover, and unwind.

Day 6: Cres, Croatia

Cres, situated in the Adriatic Sea, is Croatia's largest island. With its unspoilt landscapes, picturesque villages and secluded coves, Cres offers striking contrasts for a tranquil getaway in unspoilt natural surroundings.

Day 7: Venice, Italy | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
Disembark after breakfast and continue your independent trip back home.

Venice is the heart and soul of romance. Cast your eye on the rounded domes of San Marco, take a deep breath at the Bridge of Sighs, gaze on the golden lions and the Renaissance glories of the Doge's Palace, listen for the ghosts of Verdi, Puccini and Caruso at La Fenice Opera House, gape at the classic Palladian proportions of the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore, glide in a gondola down the Grand Canal. And know that love is always in the air in Venice.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
