Alghero is the main resort in the northwest of Sardinia and one of it's most beautiful medieval cities. It's bustling historic center is packed with excellent bars and restaurants making it a great place to hang out. It is also ideally placed for exploring the beaches of nearby Riviera del Corallo. Interestingly a form of medieval Catalan is still spoken even though the Iberians left three centuries ago.

Porticcio, on the southern shore of the Gulf of Ajaccio, is a charming seaside resort renowned for its fine sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Combining natural beauty with modern facilities, it offers water sports, lively walks and tasty local specialities.

Day 5: Saint-Florent, Corsica, France

Crowded with yachts flying burgees hailing from the world's most prestigious yacht clubs, the harbor of St. Florent is a regatta of colors. Discover ancient buildings such as the 12th-century Cathedral or the 15th-century Citadelle, enjoy strolling along the waterfront and taking advantage of the constant hustle and bustle of the marina, located in the heart of the village. Nearby, you can also enjoy the heavenly beaches of the Agriates or discover the vineyards of Patrimonio.

Day 6: Portofino, Italy

Portofino is a fishing village on the Italian Riveria coastline. It's pastel-colored houses, luxury boutiques and seafood restaurants surround its Piazzetta, a small cobbled square overlooking the harbor, which is lined with super-yachts. A short walk takes you up to the Church of St. George, a church with a cool, plain interior, dramatically situated on the narrow neck of the Portofino headland. As a lookout point, and probably as a site of religious significance, the spot goes back thousands of years.

Porto Venere is a stunning seaside village on the Ligurian coast of Italy, known for its colorful waterfront houses and medieval charm. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it boasts the impressive Church of San Pietro, perched on a rocky cliff overlooking the sea. Often considered a quieter alternative to Cinque Terre, Porto Venere is a hidden gem perfect for those seeking history, nature, and breathtaking coastal views.
