Onguma Trails Camp is Namibia’s first eco-friendly walking safari camp in the Onguma Nature Reserve. With only four tents and a maximum of eight guests, it provides an intimate blend of adventure and comfort. Guided by expert rangers, guests explore the bush on foot, enjoy hearty meals, and relax in a private, low-impact camp powered by solar energy.

Rooms
The camp features four spacious Bell Tents with king or twin beds, private bathrooms, and bucket showers with hot water. Each tent includes a compostable toilet and a wood-fired hot tub, adding a touch of luxury to the wilderness. Lighting is provided by lanterns and solar lamps, with charging stations for essentials. Disconnect from Wi-Fi and phone signal while staying connected via satellite for emergencies.

Amenities and Facilities
Designed for simplicity and sustainability, Onguma Trails Camp includes all meals and drinks, served in camp or around the boma fire. Solar power supports lighting and charging points, while torches and lamps enhance the safari feel. Set departures every five days from April to September. The camp welcomes guests 16+ who are fit enough to walk up to 10 km.

Adventure Life planned an extraordinary trip to Uruguay where we were able to see a colonial town, modern city, the coast life, and the countryside.
