Planning the Trip

It is unseasonably warm today on this December day... high of 72! I guess this is a preview of the lovely summer weather we will encounter to Patagonia. So many considerations to take when thinking about the up coming trip.
Which type of new hiking boots should we get?
What camera gear should I go with?
Will the weather in NYC cooperate on our way out?
What types of delicious food should we try on our trip?
I guess we should start making a list... but I already have a list that I haven't even complete... what to cook for Christmas. Back to sipping my tea and smelling the wonderful tree that I forgot to water last night.
