Discover the icy stratovolcano, Mount Burney
Witness the Cordillera Sarmiento's snow-capped peaks
Starting in Puerto Natales, our Fiordos del Sur II Catamaran will spend the day navigating the waters of Kawesqar National Park to discover its more remote areas. The Mountain Channel is over 50 kilometers long. It provides breathtaking views of the Roca Peninsula's cliffs, lush vegetation, fjords, and glaciers that break off the snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Sarmiento. If the weather is good, you will be able to see Mount Burney, which is an inactive, icy stratovolcano that rises more than 1,500 meters above sea level. Lastly, learn about the first settlers, colonists, and expeditions that came to Ultima Esperanza and sailed through its fjords.
