Kuelap Fortress of the Chachapoyas

Located in northern Peru, the fortress at Kuelap ruins was built by the Chachapoyas tribe. Here you will see only a few visitors per week due to the four hour trek through the Andes to arrive at the ruins. From below, you wouldn't know what lies on the top of this ridge because it is completely invisible.
