Transfer from your hotel to Cruzpata on Maras’s plateau, where you start your mountain bike adventure enjoying lovely views of impressive Andean peaks, many cactus plants and Andean villagers about their daily activities. Enjoy an optional visit of the Inca experimental agricultural terraces of Moray, where a picnic lunch is provided. Proceed on a dirt road to Maras for a visit to the salt mines. Transfer back to Cusco at the end of the day.
This tour is a total of 7 hours with 3.5 hours of biking. The difficulty level is moderate on dirt roads and trails with advanced routes available for experienced riders.
*This trip begins in Cusco. An additional fee will be charged if pick-up from Sacred Valley hotel is required. No additional charge for drop-off in Sacred Valley after tour.

If you are interested in purchasing a hiking pass for either Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, please contact us asap. These are not included in the cost of the trip and must be arranged in advance. Hiking permits, especially for Huayna Picchu, often sell out months in advance.
The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
