Meet your Andean horse and embark on your two and a half hour ride through fields, small villages and Incan sites. You will enjoy a wonderful view of Cusco on your way to the Temple of the Moon, where you will leave your horses and return to Cusco. While it is not allowed to visit the archaeological sites on horseback, you are welcome to dismount your horse and visit the Temple of the Moon on foot. The entrance will be paid locally and is not included in the cost of your horseback riding excursion.

Day 1: Cusco Horseback Riding

Depart from your hotel this morning for a quick twenty-minute drive to the starting point of your ride. Meet your Andean horse and embark on your two and a half hour ride through fields, small villages and Incan sites. You will enjoy a wonderful view of Cusco on your way to the Temple of the Moon, where you will leave your horses and return to Cusco. While it is not allowed to visit the archaeological sites on horseback, you are welcome to dismount your horse and visit the Temple of the Moon on foot. The entrance will be paid locally and is not included in the cost of your horseback riding excursion.

This trip is 4 hours with approximately 2.5 hours of riding. The difficulty level is easy, and no experience is required.
