Lituya Bay is a legendary destination among mariners, known for its dramatic history, including the 1958 mega tsunami. It’s a fair-weather stop due to challenging entrance conditions, but if the weather and tides align, the experience is unforgettable. You can explore Cenotaph Island, home to black-legged kittiwake colonies and sea lion haul-outs. Enjoy hiking and take in the breathtaking views of the Fairweather Mountain Range. If needed, you have alternative options like Graves or Torch Bay, known for their calm waters and stunning scenery.

Step ashore on George Island, home to a World War I-era cannon brought here during World War II.
