Rodney Bay is a bay on the North West coast of Saint Lucia; it is along the northwestern coast of the island to the north of Choc Bay. It is named after British naval officer George Brydges Rodney. Anchor and offer tender service to one of the local bars or direct to the marina. Guests can enjoy the Yachting Land Adventures, water sports, the local beaches or a hike to Pigeon Island.

Day 4 Port Elizabeth, Bequia

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Bequia is the northernmost and largest of the Grenadines, just seven square miles of quiet lagoons, reefs, and long silvery stretches of beach. Among the first things you notice are the colorful model boats set up on stands around the tiny harbor, representing the island's maritime history. The yacht anchors at Port Elizabeth and offers you a scenic land adventure as well as sport fishing and a trip to the neighboring island of Mystique. If you are lucky enough to have a late call, don’t miss Mac’s Lobster Pizza.

Optional Activities:

Port Elizabeth - Scenic Bequia: This land adventure begins with a scenic drive through parts of Port Elizabeth, the island's quaint little town with its vegetable market and souvenir stalls, and up to Mt. Pleasant which offers a marvelous view of your yacht, the wider Caribbean Sea, and the surrounding Grenadine Islands. For this stop your camera is a must-have as the view leaves you breathless. The adventure then continues up the Atlantic Coast with its alternating ocean views and beautiful roadside floral scenery as you make your way to the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary. Mr. Orton G. King, owner of this sanctuary, has spent most of his time tending to his precious and endangered hawksbill turtles. Listen to him spin tales of these ancient inhabitants of the deep. Make a brief stop at the Whaleboner bar and screen-printing shop where you may be lucky to see the artists at work. Try your hand at the technique and watch beautiful patterns emerge on the fabric. You may browse the boutique and purchase your very own piece of this island specialty. Return to Port Elizabeth where brightly colored items wave gaily in the wind.
Duration: 2.5 hours

Port Elizabeth - Unique Mustique: Mustique lies 5 miles from Bequia and measures 3 miles by 1 ½. The island is privately owned and has long attracted the elite of the world which includes the British Royalty. Mustique has a perfect blend of simplicity, comfort, and sophistication that appeal to its cosmopolitan clientele. From the sandy shores of Bequia, board your private catamaran for a scenic ride to Mustique for a day of relaxation. As you go along you no doubt notice some rather unusual homes set in amazing natural rock formations and arches known as ‘The Moon Hole”. Also pass the historic whaling island of Petit Nevis. Upon arrival at Mustique, enjoy a slow panoramic ride along the coast while your knowledgeable guide points out where the luxurious houses of the rich and famous can be seen including Ralph Lauren and Sir Paul McCartney. Enjoy the view of the azure-blue seas from their terrace while you indulge in this spectacular meal. If you do not wish to stay at the Cotton House, you can also simply be driven back to Basil’s Bar which also features a beautiful beach for swimming and very friendly staff. Across the street from Basil’s Bar find two quaint boutiques filled with hand-made souvenirs and other items. After your self-made adventure, return to your catamaran for a complimentary glass of rum punch, the journey back to Bequia, and your awaiting yacht.
Duration: 7 hours

Day 5 Tobago Cays | Union Island

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Union Island, the southernmost island of the Grenadines, is nicknamed the ‘Tahiti of the West Indies’ due to its volcanic silhouette. Among the many restaurants and bars, Happy Island, a man-made island featuring a bar, sits in the middle of Clifton harbor and is a must-see. Mount Taboi, at 999 feet above sea level, is the highest peak on Union Island. A key feature of the Union Island region is the Tobago Cays National Marine Park. The Tobago Cays are a group of small uninhabited islands surrounded by reefs, where snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming with sea turtles are all favorite pastimes.

Optional Activities:

Tobago Cays – Cat Sail to the Nature Preserve: A lovely catamaran takes you on an exclusive sail-away to the beautiful island of the Nature Reserve for a morning of swimming, snorkeling, and sunning. World famous, the 5 small islands are now a Nationally Protected area. This has resulted in a resurgence of marine life, including turtles which swim and feed while you intermingle and observe them. These 'picture-perfect' tiny islands are surrounded by magnificent coral reefs and known for their pretty beaches and incredible snorkeling. Tobago Keys are uninhabited and reachable only by boat. Upon arrival, use the aft ladder for independent swimming and snorkeling. Continuing on through the islands of the Southern Grenadines, picturesque Palm Island and the relatively bustling Union Island in complete contrast delight your senses. On the return enjoy a refreshing punch while relaxing on the deck and enjoying the wonderful scenery.
Duration: 3.5 hours

Union Island – Southern Grenadines Exploration: No visit to the Grenadines is complete without a sail through its charming little islands. See Mopion, Union Island, Petit St. Vincent, and Palm Island as you enjoy the fresh breeze. This exclusive sail-away adventure takes you through part of the Grenadines archipelago experiencing coastlines garlanded with white sand beaches as you make your way to Mopion. Use the authentic means of transport which made life on these tiny islands possible. For decades, locally built schooners were the principal means of transport between the islands. Totally un-mechanized, the wooden vessel takes you back to the era of Pirates and Buccaneers, ropes and riggings, and the ever-important bottles of rum. Along the way, sail past Palm Island. This private island is a resort named after the hundreds of coconut palm planted by the original owner over 30 years ago. Continuing on, head for Mopion, an islet resembling an atoll in the South Pacific surrounded by its reef lagoon. On arriving at Mopion, your mind is set back decades, as this perfect setting is the antidote for the stresses of everyday life. The crystal-clear waters and white sand are breathtaking; this is a wonderful environment for swimming or snorkeling.
Duration: 3.5 hours

Day 6 St. George's, Grenada

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
This stop happens to be the capital of Grenada and offers our guests active activities such as hiking and tubing. This destination is becoming more popular due to the moderate tropical climate that ensures the success of spice production. Nutmegs are the most plentiful crop, followed by an array of such spices as cocoa, mace, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon and ginger. Enjoy playing from the water sports marina as we are scheduled to anchor in this port of call.

Day 7 Mayreau, St. Vincent

  • Ship

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
