Got going early with a nice breakfast that Mrs. Trego prepared and then I went to their water drilling yard to work on my bike. Fixed my panniers and chain guard and then Stephan gave it a good cleaning.
We then went over to Antigua which was the old capital and had a splendid view of the three volcanoes . The one , Fuego , was letting off huge plumes of volcanic dust into the sky for most of the day.
Drove another 15 km to the Fuego Country Club golf course which is at the base of the volcano and then I went to Antigua and spent the rest of the day there.
Stephan Thomas and myself were
invited to Kiki's house for a BBQ even although he's a vegetarian we had the best pork ribs and tequila. He had done a bike tour in South Africa earlier this year and just raved about the place.
