Villa Casa Marin is a family-owned winery and guest retreat located in the San Antonio appellation, only 4 kms from the coast. It is currently Chile's closest vineyard to the Pacific Ocean. It was founded in 2000 by Maria Luz Marin, winemaker and entrepreneur, whose goal of providing innovation to the local wine industry is being accomplished by her focus on premium wines which are a reality with the new "terroir".
The Vineyards It has been described as one of the most daring and innovative vineyards in the country. Surrounded by the steep hills of the Chilean coastal mountains, the unique micro climate and wide variety of soils found here give birth to a "terroir" recently discovered for the viticulture of fine wines. The first 25 hectares were planted with Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Savignon Gris, Gewurztraminer and Riesling. Chilean and British winemakers comprise a dedicated team who have contributed their know-how to the production of truly outstanding wines.
Bed & Breakfast A warm welcome is extended to guests in the guesthouse, located in one of the vineyards most beautiful spots: the top of the hill surrounded by Sauvignon Blanc vines and a magnificent view of the vineyard, the town of Lo Abarca and the Pacific Ocean. Relax and enjoy the unique experience of this private villa for 1,2,3 or 4 guests, surrounded by the peacefulness of the vineyards and its environs. Relax in one of the terrace hammocks while reading a good book and enjoying one of the fine wines! Walking tours, tastings and working experiences are available for guests staying in the Villa. Every morning the family will prepare a homemade breakfast especially for you, complete with fresh baked bread straight from the clay oven of one of the vineyards neighbors. Villa Casa Marin gives each guest the special opportunity to really get to know the vineyard through the variety of experiences available exclusively the guests, time spent with the family, workers and the nearby town.
