Day 1: Arrive in Atacama

Arrive in Chile and transfer to the Explora Lodge in San Pedro de Atacama. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at the hotel.

Day 2-4: Exploring the Atacama Desert

For the next three days, enjoy all of the wonders that Atacama Desert has to offer with Explora Atacama as your home base. The Hotel offers a variety of excursions to help you check all of the main attractions off your list, such as thermal baths in Puritama Hot Spring, star-gazing at some of the world’s clearest skies, and gastronomic experience in Explora's restaurant menu, exclusively developed by the renowned Peruvian chef Virgilio Martínez, owner of Central, the best in the world according to the ranking The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023. More information regarding excursions can be found here.

Day 5: Depart Explora Lodge

We have been using Adventure Life for over 20 years. I guess that about says it all. This most recent trip to central and southern patagonia was spectacular. What beautiful, vast, varied landscape. We saw it from kayaks, white water rafting, boats, hiking trails and on horseback. Lodges and guides were top notch.
