Thomas Somerscales Hotel, was once the home of the painter and his family, who in 1874 bought a site in San Eriazo Enrique # 446, built the house and lived in it during their stay in Valparaiso. After more than 100 years, the house of the family Somerscales is the perfect place to begin Chile tour. This large house in Cerro Alegre was declared a historic landmark by the Council of National Monuments. It was restored in compliance with all existing regulations to establish a beautiful bed-and-breakfast-style hotel. We have been using Adventure Life for over 20 years. I guess that about says it all. This most recent trip to central and southern patagonia was spectacular. What beautiful, vast, varied landscape. We saw it from kayaks, white water rafting, boats, hiking trails and on horseback. Lodges and guides were top notch.
