Day 1: Trogir – Vis/Komiza | Embark

Check in from 11:00 in Trogir, with departure at 13:00. Enjoy lunch on board before stopping for a refreshing swim in a secluded bay. Continue to the island of Vis, once a strategic harbor for the Yugoslav navy and closed to the public for decades. This isolation helped preserve Vis and its traditional Mediterranean character. Overnight in Vis or Komiža, depending on berth availability.

Vis lies on the northern side of the island, near the remains of ancient Issa, considered the first urban center in Croatia. Explore the Roman Thermal Baths and City Museum, or walk along the waterfront and view the villae rusticae scattered along the shore. To discover more of the island, rent a car or scooter and explore its quieter roads and inland areas.

Day 2: Vis - Bisevo (Blue Cave) - Hvar

Cruise early in the morning to the island of Biševo for a visit to the Blue Cave, one of the Adriatic’s best-known natural attractions. Entrance is weather permitting and payable locally. Continue to Hvar, Croatia’s sunniest island, known for its Venetian architecture, lively squares and waterfront cafés. Upon arrival, guests travelling with the Katarina Voyage Collection can join an included guided walking tour of Hvar Town, followed by free time to explore independently or climb to the hilltop fortress for views of the Pakleni Islands. Overnight in Hvar.

Day 3: Hvar - Bol - Makarska

Cruise to the island of Brač with a swim stop at the famous Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn), Croatia's best-known beach. After lunch, continue to Makarska, beautifully set beneath the dramatic Biokovo mountain range. Spend the evening exploring its lively promenade, charming old town and welcoming cafés and restaurants. Overnight in Makarska.

Day 4: Makarska - Korcula

After a morning swim stop, cruise towards Korčula, often called a miniature Dubrovnik and traditionally known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Upon arrival, guests travelling with the Katarina Voyage Collection enjoy an included guided walking tour through Korčula’s enchanting medieval streets. Afterwards, spend the evening at leisure discovering the town’s restaurants, wine bars and waterfront cafés. Overnight in Korčula.

Day 5: Korcula - Mljet National Park

Sail towards the lush island of Mljet, home to one of Croatia's most beautiful national parks (entrance fee payable locally). Discover its tranquil salt lakes, visit the 12th-century Benedictine monastery on St. Mary's Islet or explore the island by bicycle or kayak. Surrounded by untouched nature, Mljet offers the perfect setting to slow down and unwind. Overnight on Mljet island.

Day 6: Mljet National Park - Sipan or Slano

Enjoy another relaxing morning at sea before cruising towards either Šipan, the largest of the Elaphiti Islands, or the peaceful village of Slano on the mainland. Both destinations offer an authentic glimpse of Dalmatian coastal life, away from the crowds. In the evening, celebrate your journey with the Captain's Dinner on board. Overnight in Šipan or Slano.

Day 7: Sipan or Slano - Dubrovnik

After a final swim stop and lunch on board, cruise towards magnificent Dubrovnik. Entering the city from the sea offers unforgettable views of its iconic medieval walls. Upon arrival, join a guided walking tour of the UNESCO-listed Old Town before enjoying free time to explore at your own pace. Walk the famous city walls, take the cable car to Mt. Srđ for spectacular panoramic views or simply soak up the atmosphere in one of the city's elegant squares and cafés. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
