Luxury expedition cruise ship Silver Explorer was designed to navigate the world's most remote waterways, including both of the planet's polar regions, in comfort and style. The Silver Explorer Expedition Cruise Ship can quickly push through ice floes thanks to its reinforced hull, which has been given the Lloyd's Register ice-class notation (1A) for passenger vessels. Each spectacular Silver Explorer luxury cruise journey is enhanced by a fleet of 12 Zodiac boats and an Expedition Team of experts that provide insight and expertise.
The 144-capacity Silver Explorer, formerly known as Prince Albert II, has the feel of a private yacht as she embarks on thrilling expedition trips to the most remote corners of the planet. This is Silversea's first ship to take part in expedition cruises.

Dining
The Restaurant, the ship's magnificent, window-rimmed dining room, serves all three meals on exquisite china. There is a buffet for breakfast and lunch, but you can also order from a waiter. It's a multi-course meal, just like on Silversea's more traditional cruise ships, delivered by attentive waiters. Signature cuisine made by Relais & Châteaux chefs for Silversea is served, complimentary wine is available, and expedition team members dine with passengers, bringing a fun twist to the dinner table dialogue.
The Observation Lounge offers continental breakfast; the outdoor grill serves lunch, and room service offers a complete lunch or dinner served course-by-course in your cabin (during Restaurant hours) or the standard room-service menu.

Silver Explorer Reviews
Guests are pleased that all passengers are assigned butlers, regardless of room category, which is an uncommon luxury on an expedition. Excellent service, crew, accommodations, and food, all with passenger safety at the top of the priority list.
This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
