Day 1 Budapest, Hungary | Embark

Passengers are welcome to board the ship in the early evening. Join the crew for a welcome cocktail followed by dinner. In the evening enjoy Budapest's traditional entertainment on board.

*Passengers will choose either the Classic or Discovery package to participate in for the duration of the voyage.

Day 2 Budapest | Bratislava

This morning's excursions are:

Classic: Sightseeing tour of Budapest, once two distinct cities that united only in 1873.

Discovery: Bike tour of Budapest. See all the important sights of the city on an easy-paced ride, cycling through the historical center of Hungarian culture and many other of the legendary sites in Budapest.

Then spend the afternoon cruising to Bratislava.

Day 3 Bratislava | Vienna

Arrive in Bratislava in the early morning. Today's excursions are:

Classic: Guided tour of Bratislava. The charm of the Slovakian capital lies in its old city: splendid Baroque palaces, churches and pleasant squares.

Discovery: Hiking in Bratislava: The Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, take in the splendid view of Bratislava.

Your ship cruises to Vienna. Enjoy a free evening in Vienna or join the following excursions proposed:

Classic: Vienna by night.

Day 4 Vienna

This morning's excursions are:

Classic: Visit Schoenbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the imperial family, and tour of part of Vienna.

Discovery: The high art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes. Stroll through the city and visit backstage in the Konzerthaus concert hall. After your tour, enjoy a steaming cup of  Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.

In the afternoon tour Hofburg Palace, an imperial march through history, art and luxury.

Optional evening excursions proposed:

Classic: Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability).

Discovery: An evening in Grinzing, a village on the outskirts of the city still holding much of its traditional charm and convivial atmosphere. Have a seat in a famous Heuriger tavern to taste the local wines and other specialties from the region surrounded by the authentic ambiance.

Begin to cruise during the night.

Day 5 Melk | Passau

  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Cruise along the most beautiful section of the Wachau Valley before arriving in Melk.

This morning there is an excursion prepared for both packages: Visit Dürnstein, the fortified village where Richard the Lionheart was once held, prisoner.

In the afternoon, visit the Melk Abbey. Originally a Baroque-style palace built between 1702 and 1736, it is now a Benedictine monastery that hosts a prestigious coed school with more than 900 students. In the evening, begin to cruise to Passau. Tonight is your gala evening onboard the ship.

Day 6 Passau, Germany | Disembark
