Day 1: Budapest | Embark

Welcome to Budapest, one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in Europe. Split by the Danube River, with Buda on one side and Pest on the other, these two halves officially united in 1873 upon the completion of a connecting bridge.

This evening, raise a glass to the start of your journey during a welcome reception aboard the ship. Because the ship remains docked in Budapest overnight, take ample time to step ashore and soak up the festive charm of the city's enchanting Christmas markets. For a seamless embarkation experience, please ensure flights are booked to arrive in Budapest prior to 5:00 PM.

Day 2: Budapest

Explore Budapest, an architectural treasure trove showcasing styles ranging from striking Gothic to elegant Art Nouveau. While already famous for soothing thermal baths and a vibrant nightlife, the city transforms entirely during the holidays. Over Christmas, gaze at iconic buildings adorned with dazzling decorations and illuminated by twinkling lights and festive projections. The infectious holiday cheer and cold, crisp weather—perhaps even accompanied by a beautiful dusting of snow—combine to create a truly magical atmosphere for your visit.
