Day 1 Strasbourg, France | Embark

Board in Strasbourg from 6:00 pm. Enjoy a welcome cocktail and the crew presentation followed by dinner as you cruise to Mainz.

*Passengers will choose either the Classic or Discovery package to participate in for the duration of the voyage.

Day 2 Mainz | Frankfurt

Arrive in Mainz early morning. This city, the birthplace of Gutenberg, which lies at the confluence of the Rhine and the Main is a perfect blend of past and present with its thousand-year-old cathedral. We'll tour the city with your escort before we sail on around in the morning towards Frankfurt. This afternoon's excursions are:

Classic: Sightseeing tour of Frankfurt, a major business hub.
Discovery: Frankfurt "Mainhattan” and the Main Tower: Panoramic tour of Frankfurt and ascent of the Main Tower.

Day 3 Miltenberg | Wertheim

Early in the morning, arrive in Miltenberg. Discover the peaceful town with an accompanist. It is a beautiful city, and its streets with half-timbered houses are still protected by ramparts and medieval doors. Cruise to Wertheim, situated in the confluence of the Tauber and the Main. There enjoy some time to explore on your own. 

Day 4 Wertheim | Wurzburg

Cruise toward Karlstad and visit Würzburg. Situated on the right bank of the Main, the city is famous for its baroque palace, the former residence of the bishop princes. Return on board in Wurzburg and start your journey to Kitzingen. Join an exclusive evening of entertainment on board.

Day 5 Rothenburg | Schweinfuhrt

Cruise to Volkach and enjoy a guided tour to Rothenburg, a magnificent walled town set up high on the hills over the river, a required stage of the Romantic Road. Return on board in Schweinfuhrt. 

Day 6 Nuremberg | Muhlhausen

Sail the Rhine-Main-Danube canal, which was opened on September 25, 1992. It took 70 years to build this 171-km-long canal. Arrive in Nuremberg and visit the city. Nuremberg is a former free imperial city, and the old town gathers Gothic buildings, timbered houses, and bourgeois homes. Return on board and start your journey to Muhlhausen. Enjoy an entertainment evening provided by the crew. 

Day 7 Regensburg

Cruise to Kelheim, and join an excursion to Regensburg. The city has a decisive importance in the fields of culture and medieval art. 

Day 8 Passau

Arrive in Passau and discover the town with a guide. Its baroque buildings and narrow romantic streets are unforgettable. Return on board and cruise through the attractive region of Engelhartszell. Enjoy an evening of entertainment on board.

Day 9 Melk, Austria | Vienna

Arrive in Melk and join an excursion to the Benedictine abbey of Melk, which is the symbol of Austrian baroque at its finest. Return on board and sail to Durnstein. There enjoy some free time to visit this picturesque village. Close to the Danube River, Durnstein offers a vision of a lovely medieval town. Return on board and start your journey to Vienna where you can explore the Gallo-Roman town, a city of art and history. Join a tour of the illuminated sites of Vienna. 

Day 10 Vienna | Esztergom

Today's excursions are:
Classic: Visit the palace of Schöbrunn with its magnificent park.
Discovery: The high art of Viennese living: music and Viennese cafes. Tour of the Konzerthaus concert hall.

Enjoy a free afternoon to tour this magnificent city on your own or join us on an excursion proposed: Horse-drawn carriage ride through Vienna. We'll then cruise towards Esztergom, passing Bratislava on the way. Tonight is your dinner and gala evening on board.

Day 11 Esztergom, Hungary | Budapest

This morning enjoy some free time to visit Esztergom. The town is full of treasures with its neo-classic basilica and former Royal Palace. In the evening cruise to Budapest and discover Budapest by night.

Today's excursions are:
Classic: sightseeing tour of the city.
Discovery: Explore Budapest by bike. Return to the ship. Have a free afternoon to stroll around this attractive city

This afternoon, enjoy some free time or join us on an optional excursion (not included in the packages): Discover Gellert baths and spa. After dinner, enjoy a free evening or join an excursion for both packages: a traditional folk evening in Budapest.

For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. For the port-to-port package, embarkation begins at 6:00 pm in Strasbourg on day one and disembarkation will be at 9:00 am on the final morning in Budapest. Availability is strictly limited on port-to-port packages.
