Spend the morning exploring the archaeological wonders at your own pace, or choose to join an optional guided tour to uncover fascinating local stories. Return to the ship for a delightful lunch before sailing toward Mykonos, the jewel of the Cyclades. Known for whitewashed streets, iconic windmills, and chic boutiques, Mykonos provides endless opportunities for discovery. Discover the spiritual treasures of Patmos, known as the “Island of the Apocalypse.” Optional excursions allow you to visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Grotto of the Apocalypse, where Saint John received his visions, and the Monastery of St. John, perched high above the medieval town of Chora. After exploring these historic sites, enjoy lunch at your leisure at one of Patmos’ local tavernas. Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
