Day 6-7 Corfu, Greece

  • Ship
  • 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners
Corfu is the second-largest Greek island in the Ionian Sea and considered to be the greenest. Its Greek name, Kerkyra or Korkyra, is related to two powerful water symbols: Poseidon, god of the sea, and Asopos, an important Greek mainland river. In 2007, the island's old town was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perhaps the most popular attraction on the island other than the impressive old town is the Achillion Palace the summer palace of Austria’s Empress Elizabeth. It truly is worth exploring.

Day 8 Itea | Corinth Canal, Greece

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Itea is a small town situated on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth, 2 km west of Kirra, 8 km southwest of Delphi. The town has a nice beach along with some shops, cafes and restaurants. It allows the closest access to the incredible sight of Delphi which is within the top three archaeological attractions in Greece and in 1987 was inscribed as a UNESCO Heritage Site.

So narrow! So dramatic! The canal was first completed in 1893, despite previous attempts from ancient times - the first plans date to 602 BC. The Roman Emperor Nero actually started construction in 67 AD, making the first cut himself with a golden pick. The canal you transit is 6.3 kilometers (3.9 mi) in length.

Mykonos is one of the most visited Greek Islands. It is part of the Cyclades group and lies between Tinos, Syros, Paros and Naxos. Mykonos is so incredibly beautiful, it is not surprising that it has become one of the most desired destinations in the world. When you also add the cosmopolitan lifestyle, the sophisticated nightlife and the historical treasures of the nearby UNESCO-Awarded Delos you’ll have the recipe for an unforgettable holiday. Explore the island’s incredible beaches, boutiques, clubs and churches.

Day 10 Milos, Greece

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Milos Island lies halfway between Crete and Piraeus port. Milos is "the island of colors" thanks to its volcanic origin which offers beaches and waters with a variety of colors and distinct beauty. Milos is famous for its dentelated coastline. With more than 75 small and big beaches of crystal, deep blue waters, multi-colored carved rocks and white-yellow coasts, it is virtually guaranteed that you will be impressed. Due to the volcanic origin of its ground, Milos presents an impressive coastal morphology and diversity. There are white-yellow beaches, bays with pebbles surrounded by stones, and white, red, yellow or black rocks. The sea there has distinctive colors and depths and there are organized beaches for swimming or you can choose more isolated and wild ones. It is certain that the island’s clear waters and its beaches of incomparable beauty will offer you an unprecedented experience.

Day 11 Athens, Piraeus, Greece | Disembark

Piraeus, roughly translating to “the place over the passage”, is an important Greek port located within the Athens agglomeration, in the Attica Basin. Now a peninsula, Piraeus, originally a rocky island, was developed in the early 5th century BC. when it was initially designated as Athens’ import and transit trade port. It is the largest marine-based shipping center of Greece, one of the largest ports in Europe, and considered the second largest passenger port in the world. Inhabited since the 26th century, it wasn’t until the 6th century BC that Piraeus began catching attention. Disembark your ship after breakfast and explore Athens before continuing on your adventures or returning home.

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
