Day 1: Piraeus (Port of Athens) | Embark

Athens reveals layers of history shaped by philosophy, politics, and early democracy. Walk through ancient public spaces near the Acropolis and encounter landmarks that influenced Western thought for centuries. Piraeus serves as the main maritime gateway to the capital, located a short distance from the city center and within easy reach of the international airport.

Day 2: At Sea

Life aboard the ship focuses on open-air sailing and unhurried time at sea. Spend the day relaxing on deck, enjoying sea views, or taking advantage of onboard leisure spaces. Those seeking activity can participate in hands-on sailing experiences, while indoor areas provide quiet spaces to unwind between destinations.

Day 3: Pighadia - Karpathos, Greece

Framed by rugged mountains and sparkling seas, Karpathos, once known as Pigadia, welcomes passengers with authentic Dodecanese charm. The harbor is lined with colorful fishing boats, waterfront cafes, and tavernas where the scent of grilled seafood fills the air. Passengers can stroll through the narrow streets of the old quarter, discover local crafts, or simply enjoy the tranquil rhythm of island life. Nearby beaches shimmer with clear blue water, perfect for a refreshing swim. Blending Greek tradition, warm hospitality, and natural beauty, Karpathos offers a genuine and unhurried glimpse of the Aegean as it once was.

Day 4: Rhodes, Greece

Rhodes, the jewel of the Aegean Sea, is renowned for its medieval old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its idyllic beaches, and its sunny climate. Explore its cobbled streets, admire the Palace of the Grand Masters, relax on golden beaches, and savor exquisite Mediterranean cuisine. For a change of scenery, head to Lindos, where the Acropolis dominates the emerald sea, contrasted by the white facades of the town's buildings. Rhodes is the perfect destination for lovers of history, culture, and seaside relaxation.

Day 5: Morning sailing through Samos Strait | Kusadasi, Turkey

Each Star Clippers ship offers a traditional and elegant way to see the world. Feel the wind fill the sails and gently carry you from one gorgeous destination to the next. During your time on board, you can choose to relax on a sun lounger or cool off in one of the pools on the top deck, while more adventurous passengers may enjoy the opportunity to climb the rigging or even have a go at steering the ship. Alternatively, you can wander the interior areas of the ship and discover relaxing lounges, a revitalising spa (Royal Clipper only), and a peaceful library.

Kusadasi is a lively seaside resort, and above all, the main access point to the famous archaeological site of Ephesus. Extensive excavations have revealed an Ionian city through which visitors can wander. Among the best-preserved ruins are the Theatre, Hadrian's Gate, the Library of Celsus, the Street of the Curetes, Trajan's Fountain, and the Odeon, giving visitors the chance to immerse themselves in this bygone civilization.

Day 6: Patmos, Greece

The small port of Gavrio welcomes passengers to the island of Andros, the northernmost of the Cyclades and one of Greece’s most unspoiled destinations. Though Gavrio itself is a quiet harbor with little more than a few cafés and seaside tavernas, it offers a glimpse of authentic island life. Passengers may wish to remain aboard and enjoy the ship’s calm surroundings or explore further inland. The island’s main town, also called Andros, lies across the island - a graceful settlement of neoclassical houses, leafy squares, and art galleries. Together they capture the serene, timeless beauty of the Aegean.

Day 8: Piraeus (Port of Athens) | Disembark

Walking in the shadow of the Acropolis in the Agora, you can almost hear the voices of Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle arguing about who was the greatest philosopher. Ancient Athens, the birthplace of democracy and the epicenter of Western civilization, is a city for all time. Piraeus is the port of Athens, just 15 kilometers from the city and 45 kilometers from the airport.
