Torres del Paine and Antarctica Fly Cruise

Our last day in Antarctica.
My husband and I traveled to Patagonia and Antarctica for an epic three-week adventure to celebrate our 20-year anniversary. We visited Ecocamp Patagonia, and then flew from Punta Arenas south to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands. Here we boarded the newly christened Sylvia Earle and cruised around the Antarctic Peninsula and Weddell Sea with Aurora Expeditions. While it wasn't our official last continent, visiting the '7th continent' was so mesmerizing. Getting to explore in such a vast and silence landscape where our footprint is so light is a truly humbling experience.

Adventure Life has been an extraordinary travel resource for us over the years and today was no exception. Our River Cruise booking was handled by Jess (who has been our personal trip planner for several years) the same day as our inquiry. Suggestions were given for cabin choice and pre-trip options (that were not shown on the cruise line's website) like airport transfers and prepaid gratuities. Trip insurance recommendations followed and we were assigned a travel co-ordinator till the end of the tour. All we have to do is show up! Great service from friendly folks.
