Peru is one of the most captivating destinations in South America, offering an incredible mix of history, culture, and nature. As a travel advisor, I recently returned to Peru to experience it as my guests would—traveling with full guide service and expert knowledge at my side. Peru is a core destination for Adventure Life - this is where the company got its start back in '99 - and I wanted to ensure I had the most up-to-date insights to share with travelers.

My first visit to Peru was over a decade ago when I traveled on a budget and explored independently. This time, having a guide made a world of difference. I was able to visit new sites, deepen my understanding of Peru’s complex history, and gain insights that I couldn’t have learned on my own. From the incredible ruins of the Sacred Valley to the immersive wildlife experience in the Amazon, this trip reaffirmed why Peru is such a must-visit destination.
