Adventure Life's guides and partners has identified the poorest families in the Cachiccata community. The elements can cause damage to homes over time, and many families do not have the extra means to make renovations to their homes. During this 4 day/3 night trip, participants, side-by-side with the family members, will work on cleaning, repairing, and restoring their homes. We stay in the community campground each night to immerse ourselves in the village life. The trip ends with traditional Inca ceremony and offering as a time to reflect over the previous days' experiences.

This trek features remarkable views of glacier-clad peaks and high altitude lakes. You'll visit La Paz, Moon Valley, and the Tihuanaco ruins as well. Enjoy camping, horseback riding, and market visits too!

The land of the Incas near Cusco and the Sacred Valley is a great destination for active adventures. With deep canyons cut by beautiful rivers and backroads and trails in the shadows of the impressive Andes, explore the countryside during this multi-day biking and raft trip and visit the Inca cities of Cusco and Ollantaytambo. Travelers will have a half-day hike on a remote section of the Inca Trail to hike down to the Apurimac River, one of South America's premier rivers. Single-track and more advanced biking routes can be arranged based on travelers' experience.

We stay in the community campground each night to immerse ourselves in the village life.
