Located 3 hours away from San Jose City, Ficus Sunset Suites is found within walking distance of downtown Santa Elena. The lodge combines exotic wood construction with modern concepts and is beautifully decorated. This natural paradise features beautiful sprawling gardens, walkable grounds and spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya.

The lodge also features Antawara Restaurant, which fuses the elegant design of Ficus' architecture, art from the Peruvian painter Batista, and excellent cuisine to create an exceptional dining experience.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
