Hotel Belmar, located in Costa Rica’s lush cloud forest within the Monteverde Reserve, offers a unique experience in harmony with nature. Since 1985, this family-owned hotel has combined environmental preservation with warm, personalized hospitality. The three-and-a-half-hectare (nine-acre) property features a serene stream, a waterfall, a self-guided trail, a pond, and panoramic ocean views. The surrounding cloud forest, home to endangered species, was recognized by the National Network of Private Preserves in 2011.

Enjoy world-class cuisine at the Celajes Restaurant, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean and uses local ingredients, many from the hotel’s property or the Belmar family’s organic farm. Rooms feature a choice of one king-size bed or two queen-size beds, orthopedic mattresses, high-quality cotton linens, and locally crafted, hand-carved wooden furniture.
