Gondola in VeniceOnce aboard Le Jacques Cartier, we were immediately greeted by a smiley crew and staff who helped us get settled in our beautiful cabins. A welcome drink was also waiting for us at the main lounge.
After a mandatory Life on board briefing, followed by a lifeboat drill, we were informed that dinner would be served between 7 PM and 8:30 PM at the Nautilus Restaurant on Deck 4, and at the Grill Restaurant on Deck 3 for more informal guests.
Meanwhile, the ship had left Venice port, giving us some beautiful views of St Mark’s Square. I remember smiling and thinking that my adventure was finally starting!
