Methoni CastleOur last stop before reaching Athens was at Pylos, featuring a picturesque port that looks out onto the Navarino Bay. A big highlight here is the Palace of Nestor, dating from the 13th century B.C., globally recognized as the best-preserved Mycenaean palace in Greece.
Guests could then decide whether to visit the Niokastro Castle or the Methoni Castle – no best choice here since both are beautiful and have their own story to tell!
