After a delicious buffet breakfast, our day started with exploring our first destination: Rovinj.
Rovinj is located in Istria, at the border with Slovenia. This pretty little town is a real gem made of cobblestone streets that lead to bustling squares and terraces often shaded by canvas awnings. Being Italian, I found it extremely fascinating to learn about the great similarities between Venice, and Croatian coastal towns’ architecture. Avid observers might notice that the bell tower erected beside Saint Euphemia Cathedral was designed like the bell of Saint Mark’s Square.
A little tip here: the cobblestone streets can be very slippery, so wear shoes that have a good grip.
Third trip we have book with Adventure Life. Like the last two, we have had a quick response to all inquires

(1) great information on the website and throughout all the "materials." (2) Jane Packer is great: knowledgeable, responsive, takes a personal interest and tone, seems to care about the customer as a person not a sale.
