Day 1: Piraeus (Port of Athens), Greece | Embark

As you stroll through the ancient Agora beneath the magnificent shadow of the Acropolis, imagine hearing the impassioned voices of Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle fiercely debating who holds the title of the greatest philosopher. Universally celebrated as the birthplace of democracy and the very epicenter of Western civilization, Athens stands before you as a city of eternal significance. When arranging your travel logistics, keep in mind that Piraeus serves as the primary port for this historic destination, conveniently located just 15 kilometers from the city center and 45 kilometers from the airport.

Day 2: Milos, Adamas, Greece

Discover Milos, a captivating gem of the Cyclades Islands, renowned for its striking volcanic landscapes and vibrantly colored cliffs. Here, over 70 unique beaches invite you to experience pristine, crystal-clear waters. Begin your journey in Adamas, the island's primary port gracefully tucked within a sweeping natural bay. As you explore this bustling harbor town, step into inviting tavernas to savor exquisite local delicacies while enjoying the gentle hum of fishing boats bobbing on the turquoise sea.

Venture beyond the port to uncover even more hidden treasures. Wander across the otherworldly terrain of Sarakiniko Bay, navigate the narrow, winding streets of Plaka to take in breathtaking elevated views, and photograph the vibrant fishermen's village of Klima, celebrated for its distinctive syrmata houses. Ultimately, Adamas serves as both a welcoming gateway and a serene retreat right in the heart of the Cyclades.

Day 3: Chania, Crete, Greece

With its romantic harbor and timeless charm, Chania captures the spirit of Crete at its most enchanting. Passengers can wander through narrow lanes lined with Venetian and Ottoman architecture, where flower-filled balconies overlook lively cafés and artisan shops. The old port, watched over by a graceful lighthouse, invites leisurely strolls and spectacular sunsets across the bay. Beyond the city, olive groves and rugged hills reveal Crete’s natural beauty and proud traditions. Whether savoring local meze and wine by the water or simply soaking in the warm island atmosphere, Chania offers a truly unforgettable Cretan experience.

Day 4: Santorini

Perched on the cliffs of the caldera, this volcanic island offers breathtaking panoramic views, whitewashed houses with blue roofs and picturesque cobbled streets. Explore the charming villages of Oia and Fira, relax on unique black or red sand beaches, and enjoy exquisite local cuisine accompanied by renowned wines. A truly photogenic island with a reputation to match.

Day 5: Bodrum, Turkey

Bodrum is a coastal town in Türkiye's Aegean region, renowned for its unique blend of culture, history and natural beauty. Once known as Halicarnassus, home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, its ruins are only partially visible today. Nevertheless, they offer a fascinating insight into the history of the region.

Day 6: Amorgos, Greece

Amorgos cliff-clinging monastery of Hozoviotissas has one of the most spectacular locations of any in Greece. Only a few monks live in the cavernous 50-room monastery, but the view from their terrace aerie might make you think they had all flown to heaven from this very spot.

Day 7: Hydra, Greece

Hydra is a town of stately mansions all built around 1800 by blockade runners who had made fortunes outwitting the British during the Napoleonic Wars. As there are no cars, for the spectacular view from the Monastery of Ilias you have to ride a donkey to the top.

Day 8: Piraeus (Port of Athens), Greece | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
Walking in the shadow of the Acropolis in the Agora, you can almost hear the voices of Plato, Socrates and Aristotle arguing about who was the greatest philosopher. Ancient Athens, the birthplace of democracy and epicenter of western civilization, is a city for all eternity. Piraeus is the port of Athens, just 15km from the city and 45km from the airport.

Disembark after breakfast and continue your independent trip back home.
