Day 1 Malé | Embark

The economic, political, financial and cultural center of the Maldives, Malé is an exception in the landscape of this insular state in the Indian Ocean. Located on the eponymous island, the city has high colorful skyscrapers bordering narrow streets through which its 100,000 inhabitants hurry every day: a lively atmosphere that contrasts with the gentle lifestyle and idyllic setting of the rest of the archipelago. During your port of call, make sure you discover the Grand Friday Mosque. It is richly decorated and renowned as one of the largest and oldest mosques in the country.

Day 2 Male Atoll

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Malé, the island-capital, is located to the south of the Kaafu Atoll, also called Malé North. In an area barely 1.7 km long and 1 km wide, it shelters almost a third of the archipelago’s total population. This is the beating heart of the archipelago, where you’ll appreciate the charm of its Grand Friday Mosque with its minaret and golden dome, its National Museum, the Sultan’s Palace or its vibrant markets and soak in the particular atmosphere of the capital.

Day 3 Mulako Atoll

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Mulaku Atoll is an atoll in the Maldives consisting of around thirty islands of which ten or so are inhabited by a few thousand people living mainly off fishing and tourism. From a total area of almost 1,000 km², including the lagoon, Mulaku Atoll has only 4.2 km² of emerged land. In the heart of lush vegetation with its coconut trees, breadfruit, frangipani and hibiscus, this idyllic atoll is a particularly renowned diving spot.

Day 4 Ari Atoll

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Made up of dozens of atolls of varying sizes, the Maldives can be found in the very heart of the Indian Ocean, south of India and Sri Lanka. Endowed with prodigious coral reefs and abundant underwater life, Ari Atoll, with its fine sandy beaches, turquoise sea and bright sunshine, will give the comforting feeling of being half a world away. Far from the bustle and hustle, in harmony with nature, you’ll be charmed, in the shade of the coconut trees, by this impression of being ‘out of time’ and by the extraordinary diversity of its underwater life swimming amongst multi-colored coral reefs.

Day 5 Rasdhoo Atoll

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Rasdhoo is one of the smallest atolls in the Maldives. Once occupied by Buddhist communities, the atoll is made up of five islands, two of which are uninhabited. Sitting at the heart of a stunning lagoon protected by a coral reef, this atoll is truly a paradise for lovers of the underwater world. It is an ideal location for scuba diving and snorkeling, offering the possibility of observing species that are emblematic of the Maldives, such as hammerhead sharks, rays, and turtles.

Day 6 Baa Atoll

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
As your ship sails through the heart of the Maldives, discover one of the wildest lands in the archipelago: Baa Atoll. Listed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the site shelters particularly remarkable fauna and flora, as well as one of the largest groups of coral reefs in the Indian Ocean. A real microcosm of the natural treasures of the Maldives, Baa Atoll will also offer you its superb sandy beaches stretching along a lagoon of turquoise waters.

Day 7 Noonu Atoll

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Noonu Atoll is the southernmost atoll of the Maldives after those of Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu and Shavuyani. Landhoo, one of its many islands, has been known for its crafts (sculpture and wood engraving) for several centuries. This atoll is a collection of low coral islands in the form of a crown around an inner lagoon that they protect. These islets and sandbanks are separated by channels that let currents inside the lagoon. Walking on the beaches or swimming under the sea, you’ll appreciate the idyllic atmosphere of the atoll and its coral reefs.

Day 8 At Sea

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
During your day at sea, make the most of the many services and activities on board. Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in the spa or stay in shape in the fitness center. Depending on the season, let yourself be tempted by the swimming pool or a spot of sunbathing. This day without a port of call will also be an opportunity to enjoy the conferences or shows proposed on board, to do some shopping in the boutique or to meet the photographers in their dedicated space. As for lovers of the open sea, they will be able to visit the ship’s upper deck to admire the spectacle of the waves and perhaps be lucky enough to observe marine species. A truly enchanted interlude, combining comfort, rest and entertainment.

Day 9 Colombo | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
A former trading post along the Silk Route, the old quarter of Colombo offers you the fabulous sight of its picturesque streets.

Disembark after breakfast.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!! We felt taken care of and you all were readily available to respond to questions and issues. I would highly recommend your company and friends have already expressed interest based on our pictures and excitement.
