Base Camp Baja supplies the human spirit with the tonic of wildness it needs. This 4-day cruise on the Sea Bird is aimed at active travelers in search of a health and wellness experience. Escape into wildness, a place of pristine beauty, with a shimmering sea, bays and beaches, wide open space to explore, and not another soul in sight. Swim and snorkel when you choose and as much as you want. Breathe in the fresh morning air during a yoga or qi gong class at the water’s edge. Hike through forests of towering cacti and high up a rocky arroyo for stellar views of the island. Learn to stand-up paddleboard, or kayak alongside dramatic cliff faces and deeply eroded shores. Cruise along on expedition landing craft in search of marine mammals — customize your days exactly as you wish.
Highlights
Stroll long white sand beaches in search of pearl oyster shells
Snorkel in the azure sea among playful sea lions and colorful reef fish
Explore the picturesque, sculpted coastline by kayak & stand-up paddle board
Savor a delicious beach BBQ as sunset hues dissolve into a starry night
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Fly to Los Cabos airport and transfer to La Paz, where you embark National Geographic Sea Bird this afternoon. Set sail on arrival, for a sunset cruise of Bahía La Paz en route to Isla Espiritu Santo.
Note that flights are not included.
Day 2-3: Isla Espiritu Santo | Isla Partida | Los Islotes
Wake up anchored in one of Isla Espiritu Santo’s beautiful bays and watch the cliffs light up as your Wellness Specialist leads a morning yoga or qi gong class, on deck or on shore. For two full days, you have the luxury to explore as much or as little as you like, with the ship as your mobile base-camp. Explore the dramatically eroded shoreline of Isla Partida on a one-way kayak journey, or join a challenging hike up a rocky arroyo to the crest of the island. Meander a different arroyo with your Naturalists to learn details of the region’s geology and natural history, then learn to stand-up paddleboard, or hone skills you already possess. Spend a morning snorkeling with playful and curious sea lions, or photograph their antics from expedition landing craft. Relax with an afternoon massage, then go ashore for a beach barbecue dinner followed by a bonfire under the stars. However you choose to spend these days, you are rewarded with a sense of well-being that comes only from spending quality time in nature.
Day 4: La Paz | Disembark | San Jose Del Cabo | Home

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.

A wonderful 9 day tour of beautiful Costa Rica taking in breath taking scenery including the active Arenal Volcano to the stunning beaches of Manuel Antonio.
Adventure Life made a fantastic itinerary for us(we were a group of 4) Would highly reccomend them for getting it right!
Lovely hotels with breakfast included, bespoke trips in mostly private transfers, zip-lining and white water rafting adventures! This really was an amazing trip & one we will cherish forever!

We book a tour to Peru with them in May. Viewing from their website we didn’t realize that they are private tour company but after quoting the price, it seems reasonable for a private tour, let’s see how’s their service after our tour. The process of booking went smoothly except the payment part which need a bit of work. Need to improve better payment method and options.
