Dream Made Real - Galapagos Island Trip

My life is filled with the typical. I am a post 50 mom who had her kids later in life. I am usually surrounded by laundry, cats, homework and guiding the growth of my 2 teenage sons. For 17 years, my life has centered completely around others. Stepping onto the Sagittta, I was taking a step just for me. It was almost shocking. It was certainly selfish. And it was delicious. I felt that thrill that only the new can bring. New sights, new people, new food, new sensations. I have not been on a sailing vessel this size before, not to live aboard. It felt like a complete escape from my former life.
